Terms of Service

Last updated 8 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between Lattice Nepal (“we”, “us”) and the restaurant business that uses Restro and each person who signs in on its behalf (“you”). By using the website restro.latticenepal.com or the Restro mobile app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. What Restro is

Restro is back-office software for restaurants: staff record orders, the kitchen receives tickets, and the restaurant keeps bills, payments, khata, stock, purchases, cash and reports. It is not a fiscal billing device or a payment processor: it does not print tax invoices, take card payments or move money. Wallet and QR payments (eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay) are made through those providers; Restro only records them. You remain responsible for your own tax invoices and filings.

3. Accounts

A restaurant owner creates the restaurant’s account and invites staff, choosing each person’s role. You must give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. The owner is responsible for who has access and what role they hold, and for removing access when someone leaves.

4. Your data

Records your restaurant creates belong to your restaurant. You give us permission to store and process them only to operate, secure and support Restro. You are responsible for having the right to record what you enter, including your customers’ names and phone numbers for khata. Owners, managers and accountants can export records at any time.

5. The mobile app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the Restro app on devices you control, for your restaurant’s work. The app needs an internet connection and a Restro account. If you allow notifications, we send alerts about events you have switched on (such as new orders or ready dishes); delivery depends on your phone, network and Google or Apple’s services and is not guaranteed, so do not rely on a notification as the only record of an order.

If you downloaded the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Google or Apple, who are not responsible for the app or its support. Their store terms also apply to your use of their store.

6. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • try to access another restaurant’s data, or get round the role and tenant controls;
  • probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, except as the law allows;
  • record false transactions to mislead tax authorities, lenders or partners;
  • store data you have no right to store, or use Restro for anything unlawful;
  • share your login with someone else or resell access.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put other restaurants at risk.

7. Fees

Pricing, and any free period, are as agreed when your restaurant signs up. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before starting to charge or changing a price. The mobile app itself is free to download.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Restro available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free; maintenance and outages happen. We improve the software over time and may change or remove features, giving notice where a change materially affects you.

9. No warranty, limited liability

Restro is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Restro in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Restro at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end the service with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. Before access ends you can export your restaurant’s records.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and we will tell restaurant owners about material changes by email or in the app before they take effect.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
